OpenOffice.org User Community Volunteers

Well, over this last weekend the forum site moved from a hidden state in the test directory out into the open...

Someone said to me recently that the work would actually begin After the site goes live...I have no doubt that is true.

For one thing there is the issue of the OUCV charter - we all remember that don't we, that was the point in the end, wasn't it.

For today though....a break on the high seas....

Thanks to everyone that helped, pushed or cajoled along the way...it has been a long time getting from there to here it seems.

It is proposed that the members of the oucv.org also take over the duties of managing the forum at www.oooforumorg.

The members of the OUCV.org should begin working with Ed at www.oooforum.org to help maintain and enhance that site.

This would include bringing the site under a terms of use agreement that would be harmonious with, but not identical to, that used at user.services.openoffice.org.

The OpenOffice.org User Community Volunteers is an association of users of OpenOffice.org software actively supporting the end user support forums at user.services.openoffice.org.

The initial members came from the user form at http://www.oooforum.org
